| * arch/arm/boards: Replace license and copyright boilerplate by SPDX identfiersUwe Kleine-König2020-05-253-42/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adapts all files that were identifed by licensecheck (https://salsa.debian.org/build-common-team/licensecheck.git) as licensed under the GPL. The advantage is that these specifiers are machine-parseable which helps license conformance, e.g. for packaging barebox in Debian. While touching these files also do some minor comment reformatting to get some uniform layout. | | | | | | | | The CREDITS file was removed from barebox in 2015 by commit 6570288f2d97 ("Remove the CREDITS file"). Remove references to it from several files. Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* ARM: boards: Harmonize barebox_arm_reset_vector() prototypeSascha Hauer2019-03-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | barebox_arm_reset_vector() is a global function but we never provided a prototype anywhere. The prototypes differ for the different boards, so to provide a common prototype we must harmonize them. void barebox_arm_reset_vector(uint32_t r0, uint32_t r1, uint32_t r2) Should be suitable for all boards. * poweroff: Allow to register poweroff handlersSascha Hauer2017-03-301-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Allow to register handlers for poweroff. This allows to have multiple poweroff implementations in a single binary. The implementation is close to the restart handlers. * sizes.h: move include/sizes.h to include/linux/sizes.hMasahiro Yamada2015-01-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This file originates in Linux. Linux has it under include/linux/ directory since commit dccd2304cc90. Let's move it to the same place as well in barebox. This commit was generated by the following commands: find -name '*.[chS]' | xargs sed -i -e 's:<sizes.h>:<linux/sizes.h>:' git mv include/sizes.h include/linux/ Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* ARM: change signature of barebox_arm_entryLucas Stach2014-05-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Mostly to make it clear that boarddata needs to be something we can dereference. As this is a pretty invasive change, use the opportunity to make the signature 64bit safe. Signed-off-by: Lucas Stach <l.stach@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* PWM: pxa: use pwmx as devnameSascha Hauer2014-02-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | As this changes the name of the pwm we also have to adjust it in pwm_request. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* ARM: mioa701: poweroff the board on long power pressRobert Jarzmik2014-01-202-1/+82
| | | | | | | | | | | When the board is on console, a way is added to manually power off the board, on a long power key press (4s). This enables to be able to poweroff the board whatever the state, and is the only manual way (no mechanical possibility). * ARM: mioa701 change MTD layoutRobert Jarzmik2014-01-206-12/+62
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As barebox has grown up in size, because UBI support is now embedded in barebox, and because the IPL is at least rewritten to be fully GPL, modify mioa701 support to take into account this new layout : - IPL is version 0.5 - MTD layout is fully changed - the boot sequence is rewritten : - the volume up button triggers console mode - upon PowerOn or Sleep exit, power key is debounced and if not help board is powered off back - sdcard environment override can now stop the autoboot sequence - mtd environment override can now stop the autoboot sequence Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* ARM: mioa701: fix frequence speedup codeRobert Jarzmik2014-01-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | As barebox has become the true SPL of mioa701 board (no intermediate SPL), a bug was uncovered in the init procedure, where the CPU voltage was to be increased by commanding the I2C voltage regulator, while the I2C was shut down. Fix it by unclock-gating the power I2C bus before using it. Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* ARM: remove armlinux_set_bootparams() calls from boardsSascha Hauer2014-01-061-1/+0

* mtd: raw: rename raw deviceSascha Hauer2013-10-292-7/+7
| | | | | | | The name of the raw device is mtdraw<num> which is inconsistent to other mtd devices which are named mtd<num>.<partname>. Rename it to mtd<num>.raw. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* Set model and hostname at boardlevelSascha Hauer2013-08-161-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | With multiboard support the compiletime generated BOARDINFO string gets more and more meaningless. This removes it from Kconfig and replaces it with a variable that can be set at boardlevel. Also many boards have a standard setting for the hostname in the environment. This patch also moves the standard to C code by calling barebox_set_hostname(). Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>

* arch/arm: mioa701 improve barebox_update scriptRobert Jarzmik2012-05-161-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | Add a check to verify if /barebox.BIP0 exists, and if so, unlock the protection area, flash barebox, and reprotect the area. Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* arch/arm: mioa701 use maximum CPU frequencyRobert Jarzmik2012-05-161-2/+11
| | | | | | | | | | To speed-up linux kernel loading, switch the PXA cpu to the maximum allowed frequency (520 MHz). This improves the load time from several seconds to less than a second from the MTD. Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* arch/arm: mioa701 add IPL and DPS1 updaterRobert Jarzmik2012-05-163-0/+24
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | In order for barebox to be functional, the docg3 DPS1 has to protect barebox from writes, and have its embedded IPL coded to load barebox (as barebox is the SPL). Add a raw DPS1, which : - protects the area from block 6 to block 123 This is DPS1 + barebox + barebox-logo - encodes the 2048 bytes IPL Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* arch/arm: mioa701 make autoboot of Linux workRobert Jarzmik2012-05-161-6/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Make the autoboot work : - if no USB cuable is plugged, continue directly to autoboot - if an USB cable is plugged, wait for 3 seconds for any input on the USB serial gadget, and if none happens, continue to autoboot linux kernel - else interrupt autoboot and interact on barebox console Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* arm/board: mioa701 align kernel options with kernel mtdRobert Jarzmik2012-05-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Recent evolutions of linux kernel's drivers for docg3 chip, ie. it's renaming for mtdparts option, is handled by this patch. Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* Use DEVICE_ID_DYNAMIC where applicableSascha Hauer2012-04-161-2/+2
