The examples above are using the generic \c /dev/mem device. But the \c md
command can operate on any device. With the \c -s \c \<device> parameter you
can give a different device to operate on.

To access the flash memory you must not worry about where it is located in
CPU's address space (this would be reqired when the \c /dev/mem is in use).

Instead let \c md operate on the flash device itself. Or on partitions
(devices on top of devices).
