* t10-pi: Move opencoded contants to common headerDmitry Monakhov2017-07-031-6/+3

* block: Dedicated error code fixupsBart Van Assche2017-06-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes two sparse warnings introduced by the "dedicated error codes for the block layer V3" patch series. These changes have not been tested. * block: switch bios to blk_status_tChristoph Hellwig2017-06-091-15/+15
| | | | | | | | | | Replace bi_error with a new bi_status to allow for a clear conversion. Note that device mapper overloaded bi_error with a private value, which we'll have to keep arround at least for now and thus propagate to a proper blk_status_t value. * block: constify struct blk_integrity_profileEric Biggers2017-03-241-4/+4
| | | | | | | | blk_integrity_profile's are never modified, so mark them 'const' so that they are placed in .rodata and benefit from memory protection. Signed-off-by: Eric Biggers <ebiggers@google.com> Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <axboe@fb.com>
* block: Consolidate static integrity profile propertiesMartin K. Petersen2015-10-211-12/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We previously made a complete copy of a device's data integrity profile even though several of the fields inside the blk_integrity struct are pointers to fixed template entries in t10-pi.c. Split the static and per-device portions so that we can reference the template directly. Signed-off-by: Martin K. * block: Add T10 Protection Information functionsMartin K. Petersen2014-09-271-0/+197
The T10 Protection Information format is also used by some devices that do not go through the SCSI layer (virtual block devices, NVMe). Relocate the relevant functions to a block layer library that can be used without involving SCSI. Signed-off-by: Martin K.
