It is now possible to disable the build of the python bindings, so

This is a major upgrade, mtd-utils switched from a hand written Makefile
build to autotools. See the release announcements for 2.0.0 and 2.0.1:
http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/linux-mtd/2016-December/071145.html
http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/linux-mtd/2017-August/076477.html
For the ptxdist package the menu entries were kept the same, while some
of them now control the ./configure switches for jffs and ubifs by
selecting new hidden kconfig variables.
On the old patches: 0001 and 0002 made ubifs and lzo configurable at
build time, this is done by autotools with configure options now. All
other patches were applied upstream.

As suggested on the mailing list back in late 2016 this removes the
hardcoded mimetype values from lighttpd.conf and installs mime.conf
provided by upstream instead. You can still have your own mime.conf by
putting it in projectroot/etc/lighttpd/conf.d of course.

The memcached ./configure option for lighttpd changed, see the changeset
for upgrading lighttpd package from 1.4.39 to 1.4.45. For making the
configure option consistent with the menu entry, the menu variable is
renamed here. It seems lighttpd has switched from libmemcache to
libmemcached for memcached support.
Took this from a not applied patch from 2016, and added the necessary
migration helper suggested by Michael Olbrich, plus the dependency
changes in lighttpd.in.
However libmemcache and libmemcached are outdated and build against the
old libmemcached fails now, so mark it as broken.

* webdav support was improved in 1.4.40, we switch on the additional
webdav related configure options, if webdav is selected
* auth framework was rewritten in 1.4.42, while all other auth backends
(krb5, ldap, mysql) are disabled in ptxdist by configure, the basic
file backend is active and another module has to be loaded for it
For removal of the runstatedir configure option see the discussion on
the proposed patch 1.4.39 -> 1.4.42 from October 2016.

These tools are intended for development and thus required on demand only.
'scmp_app_inspector' is a shell script which requires some additional
tools from Busybox or Coreutils at run-time. Since both variants work,
it up to the user to select one variant. Which tools are required and
must be enabled in the menu is mentioned in the help text.

We don't want build-id information in the barebox_mlo binaries. It also
results in a build failure for Altera SOCFPGA with some toolchains that
end up outputting the ".note.gnu.build-id" section before the ".text"
section, which causes barebox's "scripts/fix_size" program to report
"invalid magic" in the file it is operating on and exit with a failure.
