* nios2: Remove architectureSascha Hauer2021-02-2423-877/+0
| | | | | | | | barebox nios2 support was merged in 2011. It hasn't seen very much active development since then and appears to have no active users. Remove the architecture. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* arch: include <asm-generic/int-ll64.h> from <asm/types.h>Masahiro Yamada2020-05-182-79/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Many architectures duplicate the same fixed type definitions as in <asm-generic/int-ll64.h>. Include <asm-generic/int-ll64.h> from <asm/types.h>, and remove the duplicated code. Note: Linux commit 0c79a8e29b5f ("asm/types.h: Remove include/asm-generic/int-l64.h") unified the kernel space definition into int-ll64.h. Barebox also adopts int-ll64. * nios2: include <asm-generic/io.h> from asm/io.hMasahiro Yamada2020-05-051-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | <asm-generic/io.h> is a collection of default of various accessors. All the other architectures include <asm-generic/io.h> as a fallback. Do likewise for NIOS2. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* treewide: remove references to CREDITSUwe Kleine-König2020-04-277-21/+0
| | | | | | | | The CREDITS file was removed from barebox in 2015 by commit 6570288f2d97 ("Remove the CREDITS file"). Remove references to it from several files. Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>

* rework remap_rangeSascha Hauer2015-11-031-13/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | remap_range is for remapping regions with different cache attributes. It is implemented for ARM and PowerPC only, the other architectures only provide stubs. Currently the new cache attributes are passed in an architecture specific way and the attributes have to be retrieved by calls to mmu_get_pte_cached_flags() and mmu_get_pte_uncached_flags(). Make this simpler by providing architecture independent flags which can be directly passed to remap_range() Also provide a MAP_ARCH_DEFAULT flag and a arch_can_remap() function. The MAP_ARCH_DEFAULT defaults to whatever caching type the architecture has as default. the arch_can_remap() function returns true if the architecture can change the cache attributes, false otherwise. This allows the memtest code to better find out what it has to do. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* nios2: use generic posix_types.hSascha Hauer2015-06-031-77/+1
| | | | | | | Use generic asm-generic/posix_types.h instead of repeating the typedefs. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* dma: Use generic place for dma_addr_t typedefSascha Hauer2015-05-221-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | Instead of letting all architectures define their own dma_addr_t use a common place in include/linux/types.h and use a Kconfig symbol that architectures can select to define the width of dma_addr_t. The same is done in the Kernel. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* NIOS2: use dma_addr_t in dma_alloc_coherentLucas Stach2015-03-062-6/+9
| | | | | | | | | This allows to consolidate the prototype of this function across architectures. Also guard against calles that pass in NULL as the dma handle pointer. Signed-off-by: Lucas Stach <dev@lynxeye.de> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* consistently use the same bitops.h fileSascha Hauer2014-07-171-3/+29
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We have many variants of the same bitops.h file. Consistently use the same file for all architectures which completely use the generic bitops versions. Some architectures had static inline versions of functions identically to the generic versions, these are removed and the generic versions are used directly now. Also several architectures depend on the generic find_*_bit functions but didn't have the GENERIC_FIND_NEXT_BIT Kconfig option selected. This is added where needed. | * remap_range: make function 'remap_range' globalAlexander Aring2013-01-181-0/+18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Change function remap_range in arm architecture to make it global accessable. For example command 'memtest' can change pte flags to enable or disable cache. Add dummy function for others architectures that doesn't have mmu or pte support. * | spi/altera_spi: Add cs_change supportFranck Jullien2011-11-251-0/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The Linux kernel says (spi.h) : * All SPI transfers start with the relevant chipselect active. Normally * it stays selected until after the last transfer in a message. Drivers * can affect the chipselect signal using cs_change. * * (i) If the transfer isn't the last one in the message, this flag is * used to make the chipselect briefly go inactive in the middle of the * message. Toggling chipselect in this way may be needed to terminate * a chip command, letting a single spi_message perform all of group of * chip transactions together. * * (ii) When the transfer is the last one in the message, the chip may * stay selected until the next transfer. On multi-device SPI busses * with nothing blocking messages going to other devices, this is just * a performance hint; starting a message to another device deselects * this one. But in other cases, this can be used to ensure correctness. * Some devices need protocol transactions to be built from a series of * spi_message submissions, where the content of one message is * determined by the results of previous messages and where the whole * transaction * ends when the chipselect goes intactive. In other words, cs_change changes the default chipselect *behavior*. Support of cs_change is necessary to implement the mci spi driver. This patch also fix few things: Passing the bus number to the brand new master device. Disable chipselect during master->setup.
